About Chad E. Green, O.D. F.A.A.O.

Dr. Green was a graduate of Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, Pa. He then went on to major

in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech. He received his Doctorate and graduated with honors from

the Pennsylvania college of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia. Upon graduation in 1997, he

joined his father, Dr. David Green, and began his work with patients at Eyecare Greengate. He has

additional professional experience with the Associates in Ophthalmology and The Veterans Affairs

Hospital in Butler. Dr. Green manages the laser vision surgery aspects at Eyecare Greengate. In

addition, he specializes in treatment and management of ocular disease & glaucoma and excels in

specialty contact lenses. He has served as a consultant to various contact lens manufacturers over the

years. Dr. Green has also hosted numerous externs from Salus university over the years.

In his free time, Dr. Green enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and dogs. He is an avid

golfer and loves to play with his children. Other hobbies include boating, skiing, Steelers Games, and

traveling, especially to Disney World.
